Disabled Bedouin girl Miriam can laugh again!

The first part of the project is completed: Miriam has solar power and a washroom.

MiriamThe first part of the project "A Chance for disabled Bedouin children" has been completed. Miriam now has solar electricity and storage batteries for her tent and an own washroom.

In keeping with our mission, it was a joint operation of Care for Kids, our Israeli partners (particularly of Zipi and Miki Karplus), a Palestinian worker, the Israeli company of the M + W Group, the campus and German donors. Across all state, social, religious and cultural boundaries the most needy Bedouin student in Campus, Miriam, the facilities for her basic needs as physically handicapped young woman could be created. An example of humanitarian and peaceful cooperation, a model against the spiral of hatred and violence in the Middle East!

Many thanks to all donors! Photos of happy Miriam in her new environment will follow in the next few days.

The next goal is the procurement of learning aids for the 10 poorest pupils, so that they can do their homework at home. Without this language, writing and teaching aids as well as aids for physically handycapped pupils they cannot practice and apply what they have learned in school at home. But that is the prerequisite for later to find a job and be able to live a largely independent life.

Again here we are depending on your financial support.  Thanks!
